Raymond H. Beeler, 61, of Sugar Grove, passed away Friday, November 9, 2018 surrounded by his loved ones at his home. He was born September 3, 1957 in Franklin, IN the son of the late Donald and Marilyn (Hughey) Beeler.

Ray worked as an Industrial Tools sales Representative for many years, most recently at Power Tools and Supply of Walled Lake, Michigan. Ray was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Franklin Indiana; the 32nd degree of Scottish Rite of Indianapolis and the Medinah of Addison, Illinois. Rays love of basketball will play on with his sons and grandsons. There was not a person that met Ray that did not love him. He was a friend to everyone.

Ray is survived by his wife, Angela Beeler; his four children, Robert Beeler, Charles (Meredith) Hager, Michael Hager and James (Jennifer) Hager; his seven grandchildren; his two sisters, Donna (Ray) Manley and Lisa (Doug) Ellington; many other family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Joni Heuchan.

Funeral services will be held Saturday 10:30 a.m. November 17, 2018 at The Healy Chapel, 370 Division Dr., Sugar Grove, IL 60554. Visitation will be Friday 4-8 p.m. November 16, 2018 also at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Sugar Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Angie, Ray was a wonderful person and so much fun to be around. Our hearts are hurting as we say goodbye to a dear friend. We will always remember the many days we spent together at the high school basketball games. Those were some good times!! Hope the fun memories can bring a smile to your face. I am so sorry to hear of Ray's departure from this earth. Growing up with him in our neighborhood and going to Southside elementary through High School has left me with fond memories of him and for this I am blessed. My prayers are with all of the Beeler family at this time

Ray always left me feeling good about the world. Wendy and I always enjoyed speaking with him. Losing someone of Ray's character creates a hole in the world. That will be tough to fill. But that loss is more than overcome by the memories of his personality and the good he did.
