My heart aches for you all. Although I haven't had contact with Jennifer for many years I grew up as her neighbor grade school middle school and high school. I have awesome memories playing until we were forced to come in at night. Always fracturing my fingers playing basketball against her and riding dirt bikes. She was a huge part of my child hood and will always be remembered fondly. Fly with the angels my childhood friend and hold your angel child as you always protect your daughter. May she always know you are with her

You were always the pleasant voice on the phone, your Canadian friends will miss you.

Our journey started on my first date with your sister. Little did I know where that journey would take us: nerf basketball games, horse in the driveway, scorekeeper for our softball team, your many athletic accomplishments, vacations and all the home projects you assisted Kris and me with. You were always there for us. We watched you grow up to be an amazing wife, mom and the coolest aunt ever. You went from my shadow to one of my best friends. I can't thank you enough for everything you have done for me and our family. We will do everything in our power to support Laurel and John in your absence. I am not very good at goodbyes so the next time I see you, we will refresh where we started, a nerf basketball game. You know I will be playing to win, so stay sharp.
Love always, Jimbo.

Very sad to learn of Jennifer's sudden passing. As a distributor for Minuteman, I had talked to Jennifer & Kim many, many times over the years. Having been at my position the last 31 years, I can say that their knowledge & expertise are second to none in their field. I could always rely on them when I needed it. Jennifer will be greatly missed. Condolences to her family, friends and co-workers.

Jennifer has been my partner in crime for over 17yrs. We started each day with stories of what was happening in our lives. I will very much miss being able to turn in my chair at work and share triumphs and tribulations knowing she understands each one completely. I will miss her very much. She loved you John and Laurel very much and was so proud of both of you. You were her world. Love and take care of each other. This is what she would want most of all.

Jennifer Bailey Amery you were my friend, my neighbor, my buddy. The first to invite us over for dinner when Tim, Faith and I moved in. Faith adored you and of course all the chocolates you gave her right before dinner time. Our summer nights talking for hours in the driveway or in the middle of the street about nothing and about everything. Your quick wit and sense of humor, no one will replace. I know you will miss making fun of all of my texts that had 8 million commas and never fully made sense cuz I had fat thumbs and hated texting. Who's gonna yell at me now from across the street and make fun of me and make me laugh or come pulling up in the driveway asking me what the hell im doing now.
You started out as my neighbor but become my friend.
Behind that joking and your snarky sense of humor, you had such a kind and welcoming heart, yes you did and I am going to miss you more than you'll know. You were a great mother, wonderful wife and caring and funny friend. You raised a beautiful daughter and family and I promise I will be here always for John Amery and Laurel Amery. You can count on me buddy. Just like we have always been able to count on you.
And yes you were kinda of a big deal. This neighborhood will not be the same without my buddy. You will never be forgotten and thank you for all the wonderful memories.
Love you always my friend.

Although I know Jennifer's Mom and Dad and am a good friend of her Uncle Ken and Aunt Janet, I came to know Jennifer best while my husband and I did the stats for the Kaneland girls basketball games. She was an excellent athlete with a great personality - she will surely be missed by all who knew her. My heart goes out to her husband and daughter as well as her extended family. Prayers and sympathy to the family.

I was so saddened to hear about Jennifer's passing. I was her kindergarten teacher at Elburn Elementary. She was a very nice little girl. Jennifer knew who she was and marched to her own drummer. I loved that about her. My condolences to her loved ones. Nancy Clayberg

Our hearts are broken and our eyes are filled with tears as we ask Why? We will never understand why, but we do know you are home with our Lord as he took your hand and showed you the way. The Angels have also acquired a beautiful lady with a mile wide smile as you sprinkle the stars like diamonds in the heavens. Peace be with you now and forever dear one. My deepest sympathy to all the family.
