Margaret Elizabeth Grist, 80, of Sugar Grove, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 26, 1939 in Nanaimo, British Columbia to the late Andrew and Agnes Peebles.

Margaret was a very talented woman, making cherished gifts for family members through the years. She enjoyed playing the piano, sewing, knitting, painting and gardening. She loved the Lord, all things sweet and Yorkies. Margaret's love for babies was renowned and it was said when she gets to heaven her job would be to take care of all the babies. However Margaret's greatest love was her family and spending time with them. She will be sorely missed.

Margaret is survived by her children, Debbie (Rae) Whicker, Lois (John) Govern, Shelly (Peter) Grist-Watts, Dorothy (Truman) Wycoff, Robert (Margie) Grist Jr., Andrew (Gail) Grist and Sara (Tim) Naden

Grandchildren;Theresa (Shawn) Vest, Wade (Danielle) Whicker, Andrea (Brian) Parisher, Lauren (Dakota) Thompson, Caitlyn Govern, Travis Wycoff, Rebecca Wycoff, Brittany Grist, Kelly Grist, Jordyn Grist, Alyssa Grist, John Grist, Miranda Naden, Trace Naden and Brianna (Cody) Bowgren.

Great-grandchildren; Autumn, Owen, Paige, Tristan, Hannah, Hailey and Oliver

Siblings; Jack, Grace and Lois.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Grist Sr. and sister, Dot.

No services have been planned.
