Darrell A. Pittman, Jr., 35, of Aurora passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at Provena Mercy Center with his family by his side. He was born July 10, 1974 the son of Darrell, Sr. and Louise Pittman.
Darrell was a 1992 graduate of West Aurora High School . He was employed at Sara Lee Corporation for ten years. Darrell was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs, Miami Dolphins and the Chicago Bears (when not playing the Dolphins). He enjoyed coaching and watching his daughter play softball. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and a loyal friend to everyone.

Survivors include:
His wife, the love of his life for the past 16 years, Roberta (Lubic); the apples of his eyes, his two daughters, Jordan Love, 13 years old and Payton Rose, 10 months old; his parents, Darrell and Louise Pittman of Aurora; his brother, Greg Pittman of Aurora; his sister Jessica Pittman of Aurora; his father in law, Bob Lubic of Sugar Grove; his maternal grandparents, Paul and Wilma Greenwall of Seneca; his paternal grandparents, Veleria and Ray Littlejohn of Sun City, Arizona and Hamp and Pauline Pittman of Gainesville, Florida.

Darrell was preceded in death by his brother, Jared Pittman and a cousin, Shane Warder.

Funeral services will take place at 10 A.M. on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at The Healy Chapel, 332 W. Downer Pl. Aurora . Interment will be at Lincoln Memorial Park . Visitation will be held from 4-8 P.M. on Friday, October 2, 2009 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Darrell's family for his children's education.
