Faye Stone, born May 5, 1933, in Union County Mississippi, to the late James A. and Lizzie A. Dunnam passed from this life on September 30, 2009. She was married to Roger L. Stone, of Aurora, May 5th, 1956.

While raising her family, Faye worked as a hostess/waitress in area restaurants and as a cashier at Town and Country Drugs for many years. She enjoyed cooking and sharing that talent with family and friends. She was known by her grandchildren as "Jelly Grandma" because of her homemade jellies and jams. She was a member of St Mark's Lutheran Church in Aurora.

She was survived by her husband; her daughters, Caryl Farnum of Aurora, Vicki (Leo) Phillipp of Yorkville and Lori (James) Magee of Orland Park; grandchildren, Scott Farnum, Kellie (Kevin) Doyle, Matthew, Courtney and Laura Phillipp, Sarah, Christopher, Erin and Daniel Magee and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Vernon Dunnam, Vernese Killough and Doyal Dunnam; a son-in-law, Peter Farnum and a granddaughter Rebecca Magee.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2009 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at The Healy Chapel, 332 West Downer Place, Aurora, IL 60506. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, October 5, 2009 at the chapel. Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Montgomery.
