Nan G. Cobb, 80, of Montgomery, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Alden of Waterford in Aurora, IL. Nan was born in Aurora, IL to Jack and Louise (Strandt) Glos of Batavia, IL.

She graduated from Batavia High School in 1955. While working for NICOR Nan met Larry Cobb of Aurora and they married on April 26, 1958. Larry preceded Nan in death in 2015. Nan worked at Eagle Foods in Montgomery before being elected as the village clerk of Montgomery, a position she held for 17 years before she retired. Nan was a devoted Cubs fan, watching every game possible, and thoroughly enjoyed seeing the Cubs win the World Series. Nan was an excellent bowler and really enjoyed playing golf with many of her friends. Nan also enjoyed traveling as a hobby and throughout the years enjoyed many wonderful trips. Nan's specialty in life was spending time with her family and friends. She and Larry raised two children that were the love of her life, along with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Nan is survived by her daughter, Cathy (Mike) Conard and her son, Dave (Angie) Cobb. Her grandchildren are Ryan (Jenni) Conard and Brittanie (Trent) Henison. Nan has four great-grandchildren: Maliyah, Caleb, Drake, and Kaiden. She is also survived by one sister. Sue (Herbert) Hill.

Visitation will take place from 4 P.M. until the time of the memorial service at 7 P.M. on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at The Healy Chapel, 370 Division Dr., Sugar Grove, IL. Interment will take place at a later date at River Hills Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established with donations being made to Seasons Hospice.
